Jorge Barrigh, Managing Director (Panama City), will be responsible for originating project opportunities for the Greenhouse Gas Credit Aggregation Pool (GG-CAP), the Managed Accounts and Aeolus Funds and for expanding the company’s presence in Central and South America.

Prior to joining Natsource, Mr. Barrigh served as a senior member of Corporación Andina de Fomento’s (CAF’s) sustainable development group and led its Latin American Carbon Program (PLAC). The program was established in 1999 with the objective of supporting and projecting CAF shareholder countries into the evolving market for greenhouse gas assets. Mr. Barrigh was brought into the program in June 2001 and was tasked with leading the transition from a traditional capacity/awareness building focus to transactions, fund management and carbon operations.  The PLAC team has become a leader in the establishment and strengthening of this new market through traditional project development & finance and carbon transactions throughout the Americas. Mr. Barrigh has also held Business Development, Project Management and Financial Analysis positions with Ballard Power Systems, in New York, NY and Vancouver, Canada and GPU International, (now part of FirstEnergy) in Parsippany, New Jersey.  Mr. Barrigh holds an MBA in Finance from Temple University and a B.S. in Economics from Messiah College.
