ncohn@natsource.comNeil Cohn, Managing Director (New York), has over 15 years experience in international commodities trading. He joined Natsource in 1998. Mr. Cohn arranged some of the market’s first GHG trades and currently leads the structuring of domestic and international transactions. Currently, he utilizes the GHG market to finance and develop emission reduction projects in China, India, Africa and Latin America. At Natsource, Mr. Cohn has also assisted in the development of other environmental markets such as renewable energy certificates (RECs), and has also worked with governments and private firms on emissions market issues. Prior to joining Natsource, Mr. Cohn was a founding partner of Penfold Limited where he directed Asian non-ferrous metals trade finance and was based in Shanghai and Bombay. Prior to his employment at Penfold, Mr. Cohn was a non-ferrous metals trader for Glencore in Stamford, CT, London, and Switzerland, where he developed new markets and pioneered zinc market-based pricing in North America. Mr. Cohn completed his BA at Baruch College.
