Natsource’s Emissions Desk is actively involved in arranging EU allowance (EUA) transactions under the EU ETS. Through direct involvement in this market and our experience and contact base, built though participation in environmental markets around the world over the last 7 years, Natsource is able to provide many opportunities for all types of clients.  We assist experienced traders source and structure unique and innovative EUA deal structures.

We also focus on providing industrial clients, with limited experience of emissions trading, an in-depth understanding of the EU ETS market, advice on appropriate trading structures and how to access to the EU Allowance market, this includes:

• Information on EU allowance prices and updates on market activity;

Transaction Management Service

The complexities of the market, prices drivers, contract, credit and settlement issues may present a confusing picture for industrial companies, whose main driver to trade is compliance.

To help clients manage ALL these trading issues Natsource has set up an EU ETS Transaction Management Service to provides companies with access to the EUA market through a single contract with Natsource. It assists clients make purchases or sales of EUAs over time in a simplified, transparent and routine manner utilising spot market opportunities. The process, from trade execution to settlement (delivery and payment of allowances), will be managed by Natsource on behalf of the client according to a specific trading strategy giving clients maximum market access, whether as a buyer or seller, but minimising the administrative and contractual requirements.
