Ana Ariño, Research Analyst (Washington, D.C.), assesses the supply and demand dynamics of the EU Allowance market and provides GHG market and policy analysis for external consulting clients.

Prior to joining Natsource, Ms. Ariño worked within the Energy Directorate-General at the European Commission, and participated in the EU Emissions Trading Scheme task force. Other recent experience includes co-authoring a study for Endesa S.A on the Kyoto Protocol and the Spanish electricity sector as well as working on regulation policy at Iberdrola S.A. She has a BA in Economics from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and an MA in International Energy and Environment Policy from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies.
