30 November 2005 — The International Emissions Trading Association (IETA) today released its 2005 Annual Greenhouse Gas Market Report, “The rubber hits the road”, at the CoP 11 CoP/MoP 1 being held in Montreal, Canada.

Natsource contributed to the report, which consists of 31 articles by IETA members and stakeholders. The articles focus on the global market including supply and demand dynamics, key developments that affected the market during 2005 as well as trends for 2006 and beyond. It also includes articles on regional developments, progress made in creating supply from Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) and Joint Implementation (JI) projects. Several articles in the report also address the EU ETS.  They discuss 2005 market performance, supply and demand characteristics and make recommendations regarding Phase 2 of the program.
