We now offer three types of credits. Please specify which credits you are interested in.
Through photosynthesis, biomass, including forests and grasslands, act as natural repositories of carbon by absorbing
carbon dioxide from the atmosphere and storing it in its leaves, trees, roots and soils. The greater the amount of biomass
(trees, roots, leaves, stalks, branches, etc.) the greater the amount of carbon is sequestered.
This plant due to the conversion from single-cycle gas fired power plant to a combined-cycle plant will create
approximately 1 million metric tons of CO2 equivalent offsets per year over
a period of 30 years. This electric energy project in Argentina represents the largest infrastructure
project accredited by the United States Initiative of Joint Implementation (USIJI).

These credits have been created through the purchase and forestation of old degraded or abandoned lands
on the Pacific Coast of Panama. This is a sustainable sequestration program which provides a multitude of
local social benefits such as providing employment to indigenous peoples, preserving native species of trees and
maintaining these lands within a government managed land trust. Your purchase of these offset credits will enable
this project to grow.
